I’ve been feeling a certain way lately. Like, I mean I don’t really feel the desire to get married like I used to. I don’t care much about planning a wedding or hanging a ring on my finger. I’m okay with him just being my boyfriend for now. Sure, it’s been almost 5 years, but I don’t want to rush into anything that might not last. I think the issue with us females is that we desire the typical ‘fairy tale’ ending with the big wedding and family, but we need to realize that’s not necessarily what we need to have/desire. I don’t really desire the military marriage like I used to. I want to marry him someday, but if that doesn’t happen immediately I won’t end my life over it. I’m still young and so is he, so what’s the rush?
